Cookie policy
fixtur uses as few cookies as it can. The only optional ones are for Google Analytics on this website, and they’re set only if you accept them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep small notes in your browser’s storage. This policy covers both.
On this website (fixtur.co.uk)
Always on: needed for the site to work as you’ve asked
-
fixtur:analyticsremembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we don’t ask again. It’s kept in your browser’s storage until you clear it. -
fixtur:motionremembers your motion setting, if you change it. It’s kept in your browser’s storage until you clear it.
Only if you accept: analytics
-
_ga, from Google Analytics, tells one visitor from another. It lasts 2 years. -
_ga_69L7L1LP9Q, from Google Analytics, keeps track of a visit. It lasts 2 years.
Google’s use of this data is covered by Google’s privacy policy. Google Analytics isn’t used on invite links, so an invite never reaches Google.
In the fixtur app
Always on: needed for the app to work
-
Clerk’s sign-in cookies, such as
__sessionand__client_uat, keep you signed in. - Cloudflare’s “Verify you are human” check runs when you sign up, to keep out automated sign-ups.
-
Small notes in your browser’s storage remember what you’ve already seen, so it isn’t
shown again: which weekly recap you’ve watched (
fixtur.recap.…), where you were in each table, to show who moved (fixtur.table.…), and which picks you’ve seen revealed (fixtur.facedown). They never hold anyone’s picks.
The app uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
Your choices
- Change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page on this website. If you decline, we remove Google Analytics’ cookies from this site.
- Your browser’s settings can block or delete cookies. Blocking the app’s sign-in cookies stops you signing in.
The privacy policy explains what we keep and why. Questions: support@fixtur.co.uk.
